CCC 1165 reads: When the Church celebrates the mystery of Christ, there is a word that marks her prayer: "Today!" - a word echoing the prayer her Lord taught her and the call of the Holy Spirit. This "today" of the living God which man is called to enter is "the hour" of Jesus' Passover, which reaches across and underlies all history…

Brothers,

The enemy has two favorite hunting grounds: your past and your future.

He wants you staring into the rearview mirror, replaying failures, regrets, missed opportunities, and old sins. Or he wants you peering anxiously over the horizon, worrying about problems that haven't even arrived yet.

But God lives somewhere else.

God lives in Today.

Not yesterday.

Not tomorrow.

The battlefield of faith is never fought in the past and never won in the future. It is fought right now—in the ordinary moments God has placed directly in front of us.

The man God is calling you to become is not built someday. He is built today.

The husband your wife needs...

The father your children need...

The disciple Christ is forming...

The leader your brothers need...

They are all forged in today's decisions.

One prayer.

One act of obedience.

One difficult conversation.

One temptation resisted.

One act of courage.

One step forward.

Too many men are waiting for perfect conditions before they move. But the mission doesn't begin when everything is lined up. Mission begins the moment a man says, "Lord, here I am. Use me today."

Stop negotiating with tomorrow.

Tomorrow isn't your assignment.

Today is.

If you've fallen, get up today.

If you've drifted, return today.

If you've been silent, speak today.

If you've been called, answer today.

The past is covered by mercy.

The future belongs to Providence.

But today's mission belongs to you.

Brothers, let's be men who stop carrying yesterday's ghosts and stop borrowing tomorrow's fears.

Let's be men who show up.

Let's be men who pray.

Let's be men who lead.

Let's be men who serve.

Let's be men who fight the good fight.

The Holy Spirit is not waiting for a better version of you tomorrow.

He's offering grace to you right now.

So take the next step.

Hit the play button.

The King has given His orders.

Let's get after it.

On Mission.

One Day at a Time.

One Brother at a Time.

One Soul at a Time.

Because God's favorite word is still: TODAY.

If you want to start something beautiful, you must start today, for you cannot start yesterday, and you must not endlessly plan it for tomorrow. Start today and let tomorrow’s problems be tomorrow’s problems.
